Veterinary Assistant
I’ve been in the animal field for over 10 years now. I have loved animals since I was a kid and knew I’d eventually do something in the field . I have four fur babies of my own, 2 chihuahuas & 2 mini pins. In my free time I enjoy running, hiking, and spending time with my family.
A native of northern Virginia, Kristen has been spending time around pets nearly all her life. She’s always had a soft spot for the earth’s creatures, and knew that she would find it incredibly rewarding to give something back. That’s why she decided to join the veterinary profession! Kristen is a proud member of the clinic’s front-desk staff.

Kristen launched her animal-care journey by working at a boarding facility during summer breaks between semesters in college. Then, she moved into full-time work in the veterinary field. When the time came to look for an opportunity closer to home during the COVID-19 pandemic, Kristen was more than happy to join the team here at Lansdowne Animal Hospital—she became a member of the family in June of 2020 and hasn’t looked back since!

Kristen is engaged to her college sweetheart, Joseph, and together they enjoy hiking, reading, and cooking. They have two dogs: a Yellow Labrador named Timber and a mixed-breed pooch who goes by Gunner.
